Why i feel emotions of other?i am not water sign?

I think it is that Scorpio Ascendant cuz I have a Cancer Ascendant and a Capricorn Sun & I'm the same way...very empathetic and sometimes I feel a great need to get away and be alone from time to time, especially from very bitter, angry & aggressive people because I tend to start feeling how they feel. I'm also very intuitive and can tell what people are thinking by how they act. People say I'm too sensitive but little do they know, I pick up subtleties that no one else seems to, and read emotions and body language extremely well.
