How would i know this if this ?

There is a Boy at my school . I have not ever thought of him in anyway then just a friend . But i think he thinks otherwise . Last year during school he would hug at first it was kinda funny cause me and everyone else in the class though it was a joke . Then he would start coming up to me and sitting besides me . And grabbing my knee and saying to a another friend were are in a relationship . He was going out with a girl so we though it was a joke . Then everyday he starts poking me and won't leave me alone i yell at him he stops . So we went on a School trip , and he starts singing these love songs he is sitting behind me and another friend . Everything goes alright after this . We get back to school the next day he starts poking me again ! At this point im really mad !!!! I Tell him off !!! He says do i want him never to speak to me again ? I say YES , finally what i wanted thank God ! And he gets really red in the face , and looks likes he is about to start crying and walks off . I later apologized . Could this boy be Gay ? I am certainly not in anyway ! If he is i wouldn't deny him as a friend but he certainly could not be hitting on me ! What is wrong with him . I hope i really didn't hurt his feelings Bad . Can anyone help me ? Btw , all when this is going on he is still in a supposedly in a relationship with this Girl . Is he Gay ?
